Building Better Relationships
If you are self-aware - but still finding yourself in the same emotional dynamics in love, conflict, or connection - there is a pattern underneath that insight alone hasn’t shifted.
My work helps you understand what is actually driving your relational choices, and how to change them in real time.
You may be in the right place if:
You are self-reflective, but still feel stuck in relational cycles
You tend to over-function, over-explain, or over-give in relationships
You confuse emotional intensity with emotional safety
You understand your patterns intellectually, but can’t fully interrupt them
You often feel anxious, unclear, or destabilized in connection
This work is not about becoming “more aware.”
It’s about finally shifting what awareness alone hasn’t been able to change.
Most relational struggles are not caused by lack of insight.
They are shaped by deeper patterns like:
attachment conditioning
emotional reinforcement cycles
nervous system responses to closeness and distance
learned roles in intimacy (over-functioning, withdrawing, pleasing, etc.)
Until these patterns are identified in real time, they continue to repeat - regardless of how much you understand them intellectually.
I work at the intersection of psychology, relational dynamics, and emotional pattern recognition.
My focus is helping you:
see your relational patterns as they are unfolding
understand what triggers them
and develop the capacity to respond differently, rather than react automatically
This is not about abstract theory.
It is about observable shifts in how you show up in relationships.
I hold an M.A. in Psychology from The New School and an M.P.H. in Sexuality and Health from Columbia University.
For over a decade, I have worked with individuals, couples, and groups exploring relational behavior, attachment dynamics, communication patterns, and emotional development.
My work is informed by psychology, sociology, and human relational systems.
Deep, focused work on your relational patterns, attachment dynamics, and emotional responses in real time.
For couples who want to understand and shift the dynamics that keep them stuck in repeating conflict or disconnection.
Structured experiences designed to help you identify and shift relational patterns in a guided container.
My work is not about helping you become a different person.
It is about helping you understand why you already become the version of yourself that shows up in relationships - and giving you the tools to change that pattern at its root.
Warmly,
Shula
